Our activities
ChestNut is located in Valencia in the North of Provence area. Its activity consists of the development and production of natural extracts using eco-designed processes and for the cosmetics and wellness markets. Chestnut’s singularity is based on the development of an original process controlling the availability of plants locally to the quality of extracts. This process is based on:
Agronomy
Development of cultivation techniques to ensure the quantity and quality of the plants produced while respecting the environment.
Co-Products
The use of local agricultural co-products (stems, roots, buds, flowers, seed shells, etc.) not valued and lost.
Botany
Botanical knowledge of local eco-systems in order to select wild plants allowing the production of specific extracts.
Eco-Design
Eco-design of manufacturing processes that respect the environment and consumer safety.
